1. We will take time to explore how to create a Glog in a moment. But, for now, let’s set up accounts for the students.
2. Scroll partially down the page until you see the grey tab, “Classes.”
3. Click on the pink button that says, “Add New Students.”
4. A dialogue box appears asking you to decide how many accounts you want to create.
Glogster EDU Basic allows you to create up to 100 individual student accounts.
If you have more than 100 students, you may want to consider grouping them for Glogster assignments so that accounts may be shared.
Glogster EDU Basic does not allow you to group student accounts by specified classes. If you are interested in doing this (or adding more than 100 accounts), you may want to think about purchasing Glogster EDU Premium.
The Premium Account costs: $11.95/month or there is a current special offer of $59 for 1 year. Schools can also purchase premium accounts for their teachers. The price for schools is based upon the number of teachers for which the license is being purchased.
5. Now, under your “Classmates” tab, you will see a list of student accounts denoted by a teddy bear and a user name.
6. An email with all user names and passwords will be sent to the email address that you used when registering.
HINT: Save this email. We suggest copy/paste into a Word document so that you have these readily available. It may be helpful to create “ID Cards” (that contain user names and passwords) to laminate and give students.
